Genesis Cancer Center

Crafton Tull provided design services for the Genesis Cancer Center when they decided to relocate from the 4,000-square-foot medical office tower space that they had previously occupied into a larger facility. As part of his goal to provide patients with a non-institutional treatment experience, the owner purchased a steeply sloping 1.8-acre. The owner envisioned a facility resembling a mountain lodge with plenty of natural light and views while maintaining the cleanliness associated with a medical center. The final product is an 11,500-square-foot building with patient areas on the entry (upper) level, and support and staff space tucked underneath, with rear access.
