Gravette High School
Crafton Tull worked with the DLR Group of Overland Park, Kansas to provide design services for Gravette High School, a 126,000-square-foot facility located on a 40-acre site. Our team prepared a master plan for the development of the site, including playfields, bus maintenance facilities, parking and drives, building expansion, and natural areas. The high school, which began construction in January of 2005, includes a commons area and a 600-seat auditorium. The structure is a steel bar joist on load-bearing masonry with brick veneer. The HVAC system is package rooftop units and motion sensors control the lighting system to conserve energy. A building automation system monitors and controls all building systems.
