Tiger Boulevard Phase I & II - Bentonville, AR
Crafton Tull provided the City of Bentonville with street and drainage design services for the extension of Tiger Boulevard. The boulevard was built in two phases, it extends from Bella Vista Road to the I-49 frontage road, and it spans approximately 3,600 feet of rough terrain. Tiger Boulevard was built 2-lanes wide with curb and gutter, a storm water drainage system, and a bike trail along the north side. A large, seven-barrel, box culvert was designed under a 48-foot fill to cross Tributary 1 of McKisic Creek. Improvements such as a water main, underground electric utility lines and relocation of a sanitary sewer main were also incorporated into the project. The design services included the preparation of plans and specifications, bid administration, coordination with the testing lab, construction staking of street and drainage and construction observation.
