Crafton Tull was honored to be selected by the Jonesboro Advertising and Promotions Commission to design the Ridge Athletics Center, standing out among several prominent national architectural firms. We are excited to collaborate with Hastings + Chivetta and Counsilman-Hunsaker on this multi-use facility that aims to serve the diverse needs of the City of Jonesboro athletes and those of its surrounding regions.

Supporting the A & P commission, our team has provided professional services including architectural and aquatics design, interior design services, landscape architecture design, and wetlands determination. The process has been enriched by numerous public input meetings, during which we posed challenging questions and received invaluable insights from the citizens of Jonesboro and key facility personnel.

The center is designed with a strong emphasis on flexibility and adaptability, featuring versatile hard courts, both long and short course swimming options, exterior water features, and an event center.

The amenities will encompass:

• Courts for basketball, volleyball, and pickleball
• A 50-meter competition pool and a separate warm-up/ leisure pool
• Outdoor aquatics
• Expanded dining facilities
• Flexible event and convention space
• Expansive spectator seating
• Ample parking

Additionally, the City of Jonesboro has recently approved funding for two outdoor waterslides, enhancing the outdoor aquatics components.

Crafton Tull is coordinating with various specialty subconsultants, and Nabholz Construction will serve as our construction manager throughout this journey. We eagerly anticipate the swim meets, tournaments, and fun-filled events that this state-of-the-art facility will host once completed.
