Crafton Tull was contracted with Highlands Oncology Group to design a state-of-the-art oncology clinic in Springdale. The building houses multiple disciplines and services required by cancer patients, including imaging, lab, exam rooms, chemotherapy treatment rooms, administrative spaces, a chapel, and a café.

The project was designed to focus on the needs of patients so that their treatment will be as compassionate and streamlined as possible. Both patient and employee spaces have an abundance of natural light, views, and access to the most up-to-date treatment technology.

In addition to medical services, amenities such as a coffee shop/café, chapel, and massage therapy were included for the overall healing benefits to patients. Diagnostic imaging equipment in the project includes X-Ray, MRI, PET/CT, and Ultrasound. The clinic is designed for growth to serve the oncology needs of Washington County into the future.

The Owner had a mandatory opening date to comply with new pharmacy regulations that took effect in December 2019. As such, the design was completed quickly, and construction was phased to meet the schedule. Site work was begun while the design was still wrapping up.
