The Paragould High School Arena is a 50,000-square-foot, $18 million project. The new arena will significantly increase the seating capacity, create additional locker room and restroom space, and provide a safe area for protection during severe weather. The current gymnasium is the smallest and most outdated in the conference. 

Crafton Tull is providing survey, site plans, and construction administration for this new arena. The site design utilizes walkways, ramps, and steps to provide the safest and most accessible route to the arena from existing structures and parking lots. Crafton Tull also performed grading and drainage design for proper collection, conveyance, and disposal of surface water into the existing drainage system, as well as erosion control and utility design. Engineers also worked to meet the City of Paragould and FEMA floodplain standards to prevent flooding of the new arena.  

The Paragould High School Arena is scheduled to begin construction in September 2024 and be completed in Fall 2025.
